Patrick Duffy; b1817 and his wife Mary c1818 were both born in Ireland and had three children.

   1)  Bridget; b1845 in Ireland.

   2) James; b1849 in Ireland.

   3) John; b1850 in Ireland.

Patrick died in 1871 and is buried at Ford cemetary, Lancashire.

 

John: b1850 married Catherine Mayiler/Meyller/Meyler in July 1869 in West Derby, Liverpool. Lived in Garston, Widnes, and Much Woolton.

Catherine was born 1851 in Wexford, Ireland, and died May 1918 in Woolton, Lancashire.

On their wedding certificate, (1869,)  her father  is listed as Patrick. (deceased.)

John and Catherine had four children;

 

   1)  Ann; b1871, married John Donlan in 1891 at the Parish Church, Liverpool.

   2) Catherine; b1872, ( in Garston, Lancashire.)

 Married T. Dolan in 1875 in Woolton Lancashire.

   3)  Margaret; b1880, ( in Garston, Lancashire.)   d1976. ( in Woolton, Lacashire.)   Married P Kehoe in 1900.

   4)  John; b1876, ( in Garston, Lancashire.)  d1940, ( in Woolton, Lancashire.) 

Married Mary Alice Blundell in 1901 at The Parish Church, in The Parish of Liverpool, Lancashire. 

John and Mary had seven, ( x7 ) children.  They were;

Oswald; b1897,    John; ( Johnny,) b1898,    Frank; b1909,    Mary Alice; b1912

James; b1913,    George; b1915  and  Lilian; b1919.
